Role:

Miss Agnes Hunter’s Trust provides grants to registered charities that support people in Scotland with physical disabilities and mental health problems or learning disabilities, education and training opportunities for disadvantaged people, and those suffering from arthritis and cancer.  The Trust has an annual grants programme of £350,000 a year.  

The Trustees now seek 2 new Trustees to join the current Board of 5 members, which meets around 4 times a year in Edinburgh.  Expenses are reimbursed.  Trustees serve for a 5-year term, renewable for 3 years.  In particular, we are seeking candidates with:

  • Expertise and experience in investment matters at a senior level to replace a retiring member of the Board;

  • Experience at a senior level in the voluntary/grantmaking sector.
