We are a small charity working with young people aged 18-30 to support them into enterprise. We offer incubation space in our Enterprise Centre in the heart of Dundee, as well as tailored business support, training and development opportunities for our clients. Launch It Dundee is part of the Launch It Trust umbrella of enterprise charities.

Purpose of role

Launch It Dundee are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to support the development of our Virtual Enterprise Support Programme. Our charity has grown since we opened our doors in Dundee in 2018, and we are now looking to expand our offer to reach more people. The Covid-19 pandemic showed that our services are needed more than ever, while also highlighting the importance of being able to offer remote support to those who may not be able to access our face-to-face services. We are therefore delighted to have received funding through the Adapt & Thrive programme to create a comprehensive virtual enterprise programme.

Working with our sister charities in London and Paisley, the postholder will work on developing and testing our virtual enterprise programme. Primary responsibilities will include: creating course content and resources, advertising the programme and building delivery partnerships with other agencies, providing remote business support to clients based outside our Dundee Enterprise Centre (non-incubating clients), and delivering online training. You will also support our Enterprise Manager with some of the day-to-day tasks involved with running our Dundee Centre.
