CORRA FOUNDATION TRUSTEE RECRUITMENT
Would you like to help make a difference alongside people and communities?
Corra Foundation is looking for three Trustees to join its board. It’s an exciting time with our new strategy being launched in early 2020.
We’re particularly keen to hear from people from across Scotland who will bring different perspectives to Corra. You don’t have to have experience of being on a board and the Corra team will give you support if you need it as you find your feet as a Trustee.
We’d love to hear from people with a wide range of skills. Some of the areas where the board would like to increase its expertise include: community development, digital, legal and finance investment.
Our Trustees play an enormously valuable role in helping us work towards our vision and our mission, which is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to make a difference to people and communities, by encouraging positive change, opportunities, fairness and growth of aspirations which improve quality of life.
JOIN OUR TEAM AND MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE
Corra Foundation is looking for someone with the skills to deliver creative, engaging communications activity. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look forward to launching our new strategy. The Communications Co-ordinator will work with colleagues, organisations and communities to capture and share stories, learning and messages that contribute to positive change.
If you have communications experience and share Corra’s commitment to strengthening people’s voices, getting alongside communities and working hard to make a difference then we’d love to hear from you.
Join Our Team And Make A Positive Difference
Corra Foundation is looking for someone with the skills to get alongside the community of Cumnock. This requires the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, build strong relationships and support local people to take forward their own actions to create positive changes. Continued collaboration with key partners including Cumnock Action Plan Steering Group and East Ayrshire Council Vibrant Communities Team will be central to this approach.
The post holder will support increased community participation in Cumnock and connection with Cumnock Action Plan (CAP) which is currently in its fifth year. They will adopt a facilitative approach, supporting the CAP Steering Group to further develop their confidence and skills in engaging with the wider community, complete their current plan, celebrate successes and explore long-term sustainability.
At this point, the post holder may be required to support another community within East Ayrshire.
This is an exciting time to join the team as Corra looks forward to launching our new strategy.
If you have experience of working with communities and share Corra’s commitment to strengthening people’s voices, getting alongside communities and working hard to make a difference then we’d love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, good communication skills, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, mail merges (Microsoft Office 365), consistently professional and helpful, and excellent teamworking skills.
The role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who shares Corra Foundation’s vision and is a chance to contribute to real change in Scotland.
