Marketing Officer

The RSE is on a journey of change to enhance its impact and reach and has an exciting opportunity for a marketing officer to support the development and lead on the delivery of the RSE’s marketing activities.

Working closely with, and reporting to, the Head of Communications, your key responsibilities in this role will be to:

  • Develop and lead marketing campaigns for the RSE public engagement, awards and venue teams’ activities across traditional and digital platforms
  • Co-ordinate and deliver designed materials for marketing campaigns
  • Engage with internal / external stakeholders and contractors to raise RSE profile
  • Collaborate and support on RSE 2020 summer exhibition
  • Maintain communication planning systems to manage trafficking and delivery
  • Produce reports for marketing and other activity
  • Prepare copy for range of internal and external publications

Requirements

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in leading and managing high quality marketing campaigns, excellent written and oral communication skills to engage with people in a creative and interactive way, excellent organisational skills and experience of working within a similar environment.

The RSE is continuing on its journey of change to enhance its impact and reach and has an exciting opportunity for a marketing officer to support the development and lead on the delivery of the RSE’s marketing activities.

Working closely with, and reporting to, the Head of Communications, your key responsibilities in this role will be to develop and lead on the marketing for the RSE programmes relating to Enterprise Fellowships (60%), Research Awards and Public Engagement activities (40%). You will be required to:

· Plan and deliver marketing activities for the Enterprise Fellowship programmes, Public Engagement events (online and physical) and Research Awards activities

· Engage with internal and external stakeholders and contractors to raise RSE profile

Research Awards Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Awards Officer to join our team and support the delivery of the new RSE awards and grants programme.

Working closely with, and reporting to, the Research Awards Team Leader, your key responsibilities in this role will be to:

• Administer all Research Awards applications

• Provide administrative services to relevant award selection committees

• Capture impact information on the successes of the grants and engage with awardees

• Maintain research awards administrative systems

• Support with promotional activities & presentations and events organising

What we are expecting from you

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of research awards / grants administration, excellent communication skills to engage with awardees and committee members, excellent organisational and planning skills. Some experience of working with assessment panels and committees is essential as is the ability to work with integrity and confidentiality.

Permanent Contract of Employment- Please note that all our staff are currently working from home due to COVID19

£ 22432 pa

35 hours per week - Occasional work may be required out-with normal office hours and part time hours may be considered

34 days annual leave pro rata
