Youth Worker (Employability)

We have an opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join our Activity Agreements Team in South-West Edinburgh.

Activity Agreements offer support to young people aged 16-19 to take part in a programme of learning and activity. This programme is designed to help them overcome issues which may be a barrier to taking up or sustaining formal learning, training or employment opportunities. Participants access regular advice and support to develop their skills and move them towards a positive destination in exchange for an education maintenance allowance, where applicable.

This role will be to work with young people aged 16-19, developing and implementing a programme suitable for their needs and which reflect the City’s Employability and Skills priorities.
