  • £28,000 pro-rata
  • Musselburgh (hybrid work requires staff to be in the office 50% of their hours)
  • Closing 5th February 2024

Charitable Purpose

Teapot Trust is at the forefront of transformative mental health support for children and young people living with chronic health conditions and their families. We provide a UK wide programme of art therapy in hospitals, in community venues and online. Through art therapy, we help children to express emotions which they may not be able to articulate verbally, build their resilience and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

Role

With ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit a creative marketing and communications professional, with a track record of managing websites and social media channels to build and manage the charity’s growing reputation and engage new audiences.

The Marketing and Communications Lead will play an important role within the team, helping us share the impact of our work with families impacted by chronic illness, clinicians and funders, so that art therapy becomes more widely accessible to all who need it.

Familiar with marketing strategy and tools to increase engagement, the post holder will be responsible for our communication channels and content, shaping our social media, mailings, and website. You will work to deliver a message with authenticity and resonance, engaging identified stakeholders in appropriate dialogue rather than “pushing out” the same messages across all platforms.

Experience gained in the charity sector is desirable and an understanding of and empathy with our work is important. We are looking for a creative person, capable of developing new and exciting content while managing and prioritising a diverse workload. You will be comfortable both in planning and implementing strategy, be self-motivated and a team player. If you are a motivated and organised individual interested in playing a key role in a growing charity with widespread impact, we’d love to hear from you.
