In an increasingly challenging financial environment for the Health and Social Care sector, in the midst of a period of change, we are seeking to increase our working partnerships, improve our effectiveness, continue to develop creative approaches to meet need and increase our unrestricted income. In order to help us achieve this, we are seeking new volunteer Board Directors, particularly those with an appropriate level of the following knowledge, skills or experience:

Finance / audit / accounting
Health and Social Care
IT / systems
Health in Mind Board meets six times a year in our city centre office in Edinburgh and is supported by two committees- Finance and Risk and Compliance.
Midlothian Community Mental Health And Wellbeing
Our services, which have an established and experienced staff team, offer a range of innovative services and supports for people with mental health difficulties living in Midlothian.
The following post, funded through Choose Life, and based in Bonnyrigg, requires a relevant professional qualification in art therapy; experience of working with adults with mental health problems; the ability to work in an integrated staff team; a flexible approach to working.
Health in Mind offers a range of counselling services. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced counsellors who are accredited or working towards accreditation with either BACP, UKCP or other relevant professional body to provide telephone and video counselling in the interim period and continue to offer face to face counselling once restrictions are lifted from our offices in central Edinburgh and in Craigmillar.
