Finance Manager

You will be a professionally qualified accountant with a knowledge of charity accounting, analysis against budgets, technical & analytical skills, working at a strategic level and you will have experience of managing and motivating staff.

Role Summary and Purpose

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all financial and reporting and forecasting is carried out to professional standards and in accordance with OSCR Charity and statutory regulations for finance. You will provide advice and guidance to budget holders and work with senior managers to provide accurate information to aid effective decision making. You will provide day to day management, support and professional guidance and development to finance team employees.

About you

You will have experience and a positive a track record in financial accounting with third sector charity experience being highly desirable. You will be CCAB qualified or qualified by experience. You will have experience of Sage, management accounts preparation, year-end accounts preparation, budgeting, VAT & Tax returns and knowledge of accountancy processes, statutory requirements and charity regulation in Scotland.

Role Summary and Purpose

This role will support the Head of Fundraising, Finance and Administration in the implementation and growth of our fundraising strategy. This is an exciting position for someone to provide outstanding support to our community and events fundraising activities across Scotland and to develop your trust and grant fundraising experience.

About you

We are looking for someone with broad fundraising experience to support the Head of Fundraising, Finance and Administration. You will work creatively, engaging with donors, inspiring donations among existing and future supporters and members. You will have experience of working in one of these areas of fundraising: community, events, trusts.

Growth and Development Officer - Highlands and Islands

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support, instigate and deliver focussed growth plans and opportunities across the target areas. This role requires you to have experience of Scouting or similar uniformed organisation and work closely with existing Scouting structures to provide support with the opening of new Scouting provisions across the Region and provide sustainable support for existing provision for the future. Home based, in proximity to the Project area, the Growth and Development Officer will be a self-starter and an excellent communicator.
