You will have 3-5 years’ experience working in a communications role as part of an inhouse or agency team. You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent (SCQF level 9). Holding a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing is desirable.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Housing Officer to provide a generic housing and estate management service to our tenants and sharing owners. Reporting to one of our Senior Housing Officers, you will also be required to supervise and manage the workload and performance of an Assistant Housing Officer and to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the housing management team.
You will use your excellent communication, interpersonal, management and customer service skills to provide an innovative, effective, efficient and responsive service to our customers; to be an active team player and to manage and motivate the Assistant Housing Officer to perform at their best.
You should have PGDip Housing Studies qualification or equivalent. You should have at least 3 years’ related experience in housing management and ideally 1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role (desirable).

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Tenancy Sustainment Officer to provide advice and assistance to our customers to help them to prepare for, manage and sustain tenancies by providing a range of practical help and advice. Reporting to the team leader, you will be part of the tenancy support team of four people and will contribute to the overall effectiveness of that team.
You will use your excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to provide an innovative, effective, efficient and responsive service to our customers and to be an active team player.
You should have a good general level of education (2 Highers at C pass or equivalent). You should have at least 2 years’ related experience in tenancy support/sustainment.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tenancy Support Team Assistant to contribute to the provision of a customer focused tenancy sustainment service. The main purpose is to provide light touch practical help to our customers to help them to set up and settle into their tenancies through early intervention, liaising closely with the team of housing officers and the other members of the tenancy support team. You will also provide some administrative support to the tenancy support team. Reporting to the team leader, you will be part of a team of four people and will contribute to the overall effectiveness of that team.
You will use your excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to provide an effective, efficient and responsive service to our customers and to be an active team player.
You should have a good general level of education (SVQ3 or equivalent). You should have at least 1 year’s recent experience in a relevant, customer facing role, with a working knowledge of welfare benefits and the principles around tenancy sustainment.

Port of Leith Housing Association is seeking to recruit a Sheltered Housing Coordinator to join our high performing and award-winning sheltered team to deliver an excellent housing support service in one of our sheltered developments. The successful applicant will have at least two years’ experience in a similar environment working with older people; must be able to work using their own initiative with, at times, the minimum of supervision and must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Although based in one sheltered housing development, the postholder must be prepared to work flexibly across our 3 sheltered developments to provide relief cover for holidays and sick leave. Occasional evening work will be required to assist at social events.
The postholder must have completed their SVQ3 qualification in Health and Social Care and be registered with the SSSC as a housing support worker.

The primary function of the holder of this role is to assist the Finance Manager in delivering improvements to the financial management systems and processes to ensure systems are optimised and processes are both efficient and effective.
The core purpose of the role is to identify and carry out improvements to the processes and systems used by the Finance Team in carrying out its main functions.
The role will involve the role holder in:
· analysing financial information needs for the PoLHA Group
· reviewing existing systems and working out the best way to meet identified needs
· managing process and system improvement workstreams
· providing support to key decision makers and being the interface between the business managers and technology/systems.
This is a project-based role with clear deliverables though the role holder will be expected to carry out other tasks outside of project work to support the team as required by the Finance Manager.
