We are looking for a full-time Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh.
In this position, you will lead a team of Project Workers as they provide support and opportunity to the adults who attend Upmo.
On a day-to-day basis, Team Leaders supervise and coordinate activities on site, provided support to staff, ensure onsite operations are in line with policy and procedure and assist Team Managers with case and site management. We are looking for a confident communicator with excellent leadership skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This Team Leader position is primarily based in our service in Edinburgh, where we offer workshop activities to adults with learning disabilities and autism from Links House in Leith, and St. Margaret's House at Meadowbank.
The starting salary for this position is £24,100.
No formal qualification is necessary, but experience of working in social care is preferred.

The Service
Our Edinburgh Mental Health Services is made up of five teams of support workers who provide visiting tenancy support across Edinburgh to people experiencing mental ill health. The service also has a Core and Cluster accommodation service which provides more intensive support to people who have spent time in long-term hospital care. Our support enables the people we work with to live as independently as possible in their own home and improve their mental and physical health.
The Job
We have an exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated Support Workers to join our team and improve the lives of people supported by our Edinburgh Mental Health Services.
In this role, you will be supported to work using a person centred and trauma informed approach and develop effective relationships with people affected by a range of mental health problems, supporting them to cope in difficult times and working towards recovery and a good life. You will provide emotional, practical and social support to enable people to live as independently as possible and make informed choices in all aspects of their lives.
This role involves the administration of medication to some of the individuals we support. Full training will be provided for this.

NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation formerly known as Tayside Health Fund is seeking to appoint a Grant Officer to work as a member of the Funding Team to be the first point of contact for staff and applicants enquiring about accessing charitable funds to deliver projects that enhance experiences for patients, staff and our wider community. A key role is to provide support and assistance to the Fund Development Manager to identify and deliver projects that will support the Charity to achieve its 2023-2025 grant-making objectives which in turn supports the overall work of the charity.
Tayside NHS Board Endowment Fund is currently valued at approximately £34m and comprises over 450 individual funds. Annual investment income is approximately £0.6m and donations and legacies amount to over £1.8 million per year. Providing information - financial and non-financial advice to funding applicants on all aspects of endowment funds will be a key part of this role. This role will also be the first point of contact for the new Funding Programme. The postholder will work as part of a wider team and will be supported by the Funding Development Manager who is the line manager for this post.
