Fife Women’s Aid are delighted to be launching a new service for women experiencing domestic abuse and are looking to recruit a full-time support worker to develop this service.
The role will involve providing ongoing flexible support to women in their own accommodation, with a focus on harm reduction and tenancy sustainment within the community. The service will work in accordance with the Housing First principles and will enhance our existing service provision for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
Applicants should have good communication skills and a passion for supporting recovery from domestic abuse.
The successful applicant will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in health and social care or other relevant subject, or a willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team.

This involves helping with online forms, the evidence required, and verifying their identity online using telephone, web chat and video call facilities.
We are looking for a client-focused individual preferably with experience of Social Security benefits (Universal Credit). In this role you will use telephony, email, Webchat and video call facilities.
To succeed, you will have relevant experience and knowledge of current welfare benefits (Universal Credit) and have the ability to analyse the client’s needs and be able to provide the client with advice on eligibility for Universal Credit and support the client through the application process. You will also be able to support the client to gather the information or evidence needed to complete the claim.
You will have strong oral and written communication skills. We are also looking for a proven ability to work effectively and be well organised. Proficiency in using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including case management systems, online forms and Microsoft Office applications is essential.

The Income Maximisation/Financial Inclusion Adviser, will play a key role in the delivery of an independent, free, impartial and confidential advice, information and advocacy service, to Association standards, to assist vulnerable families and people, living in Falkirk, to deal with poverty related issues affecting their lives. We are currently managing the site which hosts existing activity including a Community Larder operating under a local charity LEAP, and an outdoor holiday club for Primary and Nursery aged children called Wildcare.
We are now working towards a Community Asset Transfer for a 10 year lease via a live application. We are seeking a Project Officer to lead on this initiative. It is an exciting opportunity for someone to work part-time on a flexible basis as part of a community-led organisation. We are currently looking to appoint a Treasurer to join our small Board. The Treasurer will be responsible for managing all financial matters on behalf of our organisation and will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation has robust financial processes to ensure it meets its legal and constitutional requirements. It will also be the responsibility of the Treasurer to report the financial position at the board meetings. The Health Defence Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the Health Defence programme covering the Tayside area. The role includes delivering health checks; healthy lifestyle workshops; and supporting lifestyle change to reduce the risk of our conditions in local communities, particularly where there is a high prevalence of health inequalities and deprivation. The role will also involve the development and line management of volunteer roles to optimise our reach.
The Health Defence Coordinator will also be expected to support integration of Health Defence across CHSS while working closely with colleagues in the services directorate to enable CHSS activities where appropriate.
