Tiphereth is seeking a Day Service Manager for a Maternity Cover fixed term contract for 10 months, to lead our day service provision for adults with learning disabilities based in Edinburgh. As a Camphill community our work is based on the ideals of Rudolf Steiner.

Operating Monday to Friday we have seven projects specialising in the arts, horticulture, woodwork, environmental initiatives, and social enterprises. Our Skills for Growth project supports the educational aspects of growth and development for the members who attend our services.
60+ members are supported by 45+ staff and volunteers, some of whom you will have line management responsibilities for.
You will be motivated to lead a service that creates opportunities for each member to participate in a real work setting, believing that work and education are the primary vehicles for personal growth and development.
Upholding the highest standards of care and support you will be the Registered Manager for the service. Having extensive management experience within the Health and Social Care sector and with adults with learning disabilities; you will work alongside a team of senior managers who, led by the Chief Executive Officer, have wider responsibilities for the delivery and wellbeing of the whole community and its range of residential, day service, educational and social enterprise projects, delivering positive outcomes for the members who live and work in our Camphill community.
The salary for this post is £41,172 per annum. All staff are automatically registered for a 4% personal pension contribution & employer match fund of further 5%. The employee will be entitled to 36 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of statutory and public holidays; 30 of these are fixed in line with the holiday closure times of our Day Service. This is a 37.5 h/week full-time post, and you will be expected to be onsite during the service delivery hours Monday to Friday.

ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for an Administration Coordinator to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city.
Esmond Street is currently the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs. We are looking for staff members who share ENABLE Glasgow’s values in promoting the rights of individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
The Administration Coordinator will lead the administration function of the service, including maintaining recording systems, liaising with external agencies and suppliers, supporting our finance team, and directing enquires from outside bodies and the general public. They will also support the Esmond Street’s small management team.

It is essential that you have experience of working with women who have experienced gender-based abuse. Supported Living service operates 24 hours per day with a mixture of day shifts (8am start), late shifts (10pm finish) comprising the majority of support hours, while also providing appropriate Waking Night Support. Successful candidates would fit in to a rota pattern that meets the needs of the service but also attempts to accommodate the needs of individual staff members.
Our Supported Living service is based in the Glenrothes area. As a Support Worker, you will hold a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals, enabling them to exercise their choices and live life to its fullest. Your duties will involve aiding with personal care, managing medications, providing mealtime support, and fostering independence and engagement.
While prior experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant is advantageous, it's not mandatory, as we provide an excellent training and induction program to thoroughly prepare you for your new position.
