Do you have experience of facilitating training for support staff and are keen to further develop your training skills?
This is a unique opportunity to join our Staff Learning and Development team. You will work closely with managers, individuals, families and teams to ensure that each person is supported to lead they life that they want. To do this you will have:
·Experience of working in a social care setting with people who have disabilities
·a Social Care Qualification at SVQ level 3 or above
·an interest in delivering highly practical training sessions with a focus on health and safety
·a commitment to supporting staff’s learning needs, including being/becoming a Positive Behaviour Support Instructor and, where required, SVQ Assessor.
·a flexible approach, prioritising and responding to service needs, including an element of working outside of “normal office hours”
