ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting to add to our staff team at our new Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street provides a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs. Your role will be to assist individuals with their health and wellbeing needs and actively participate in maintaining the safety and security of the home environment. This includes tasks that are supportive to the needs of the service and which assist service users in relation to keeping their home comfortable and running smoothly. Experience in residential support work is essential. The successful applicant should also hold or be working towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification.
