The project takes Youth Work and Drama to the next level and is the only one of it’s kind the UK. Our programme runs over 52 weeks with recruited Cast & Crew performing live twice weekly between October to March. We also do one-off live events at conferences across Scotland and work in schools.
The post holder’s key role will be to enthuse, motivate and train young people in all things drama related.
You will help the Youth Support Worker recruit targeted young people who are hard to reach and may be experiencing multiple challenges in their lives. Your responsibilities will also include development of the set and co-ordination of all live performances.
Preferably the successful applicant can demonstrate experience of working with young people using drama as a method of making a difference to people’s lives. Youth Work experience would also be an advantage. A strong portfolio is desirable.
