In this post you will provide specialist consultation and guidance to individuals who require behaviour support. The post will also require you to deliver and develop training for staff in Positive Behaviour Support and current best practice. The post is to support services across Scotland and may require overnight stays. Whilst the post is office based you will be required to travel extensively across Scotland.

About you

You will bring experience of delivering training and designing individual behaviour support plans and protocols, equipping staff to deal with a high level of behaviour support. You will have prior experience of working with individuals with autism and other conditions such as Huntington’s You will have the ability to plan, multi task and manage your time effectively and be able to work on your own and as part of a multi- disciplinary team. A clinical background with a psychology degree would be advantageous.

You will be part of a national team of behaviour specialists reporting to the Behaviour Specialist Consultant and you will work and be based in Scotland.
