Do you want to help transform lives through reading and writing? Scottish Book Trust is looking for an experienced manager with excellent communication skills to join our Early Years team.
Scottish Book Trust is a national charity that believes books, reading and writing have the power to change lives. A love of reading inspires creativity, improves employment opportunities, mental health and wellbeing, and is one of the most effective ways to help children escape the poverty cycle.
Our Early Years programme delivers Bookbug, Scotland’s national book gifting programme, providing free, high quality, books for every baby, toddler, three and five-year-old in Scotland.
To support the book-gifting programme, Bookbug runs a national outreach programme, providing training for professionals from a broad range of backgrounds (libraries, education, health, third sector) to build Bookbug into their everyday practice and use books, songs and rhymes in their work with families.
The Outreach Manager leads on the strategic development and delivery of the EY outreach work.
Scottish Book Trust is a national charity changing lives through reading and writing. We champion the benefits of reading and writing for pleasure and work for a Scotland where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive through literacy.
