  • SCVO staff are currently working from home. When our offices reopen, this role could be based in any of our Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness offices, with the option to work from home for some of the working week.

Work for SCVO and support Scotland’s never more needed voluntary sector.

We’re passionate about the voluntary sector and we believe that charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups make Scotland a better place. With initial funding provided by The National Lottery Community Fund, SCVO’s new HR and Employment Support Service has been established to provide HR support and guidance for voluntary sector organisations, so that they can focus on vital frontline services.

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to lead this new service, developing resources and providing 1 to 1 HR support with leaving lockdown, flexible working, restructures, redundancies and supporting positive employee mental health.

If you are CIPD qualified, with recent experience of leading an HR service and an understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on voluntary sector employers, we’d like to hear from you. The closing date for receipt of applications is the 21st September, with the option of an immediate start date for the successful candidate.
