A wonderful opportunity to join the groundbreaking charity Playlist for Life at an exciting time is available for an experienced Email Marketing Executive. Playlist for Life is the personal music and dementia charity founded in 2013 by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson. We have ambitious plans for the next two years and thanks to funding from the Community Lottery Fund we are recruiting for this new post to help support and roll out our ambitious expansion programme.

By 2022 we want to establish a vibrant UK network of Help Points, volunteers and trained health and care professionals, all creating and using playlists in their communities to help manage dementia systems, alleviate distress and reconnect relationships. We have a committed team based in Glasgow, and as we get ready to launch our ambitious new strategy, it’s an exciting time to be at Playlist for Life. Our Marketing and Communication Team is central to delivering our bold new plans and this new Email Marketing Executive post will take a lead role in making our strategy a success. That’s why we’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our small, but growing Marketing and Communication Team of four.

The successful Email Marketing Executive will be an experienced and talented email marketer that will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Charity’s email activities across all its campaigns and services. They will report to the Head of Communications and Campaigns and will work across multiple teams (communications, communities and fundraising). The Email Marketing Executive will own the curation and delivery of these activities, including managing the end-to-end process of our email communications, writing engaging copy to different audiences (B2B and B2C) and proofread emails with precision. Additionally, this person will use SalesForce to segment audiences, report on email statistics and analyse the success of each campaign. The successful candidate will be results focused, good at managing their time and meeting deadlines, and excellent at building positive working relationships across the Charity so they can hit the ground running.
