Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity transforms the health experiences of over 120,000 children and young people, from across Scotland, each year, so they can be a child first and a patient second. The charity is in a period of growth and change and this is a very exciting time to be joining the fundraising and marketing team.
As Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will report to the PR Manager and support them to develop and deliver the marketing and communications aspects of the organisational strategy. You will be involved in promoting and increasing brand awareness through all channels, developing new materials and messaging for fundraising campaigns and assisting with the promotion and communication of our events. You will also be responsible for managing our online communications, including creating and implementing social media posts that support our fundraising aims and events.
We are looking for someone with experience of using a range of marketing and communications tools and a comprehensive knowledge of using social media to an organisation’s benefit. This is a demanding role within a fun and fast paced organisation. The right candidate will be passionate about working for a children’s and young people’s healthcare charity and possess the drive and skills to balance a varied workload and achieve objectives.
