Role

West Lothian Drug & Alcohol Service is a well-established 3rd sector organisation with a history and reputation for delivering a wide range of effective education and prevention, early interventions and psychological therapies around alcohol, drug and tobacco services throughout West Lothian.

We are pleased to be able to expand our Psychological Therapies services by recruiting a skilled worker to provide bereavement counselling and support for young people aged from 12-18 who have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one or friend.

This is a fixed term post for 2 years, funded through the Big Lottery and Robertson Trust. The role will mainly involve 1 to 1 working, with some group work interventions across West Lothian in a range of settings. Some evening work and weekend work may be required from time to time.

The Service operates from premises at The Almondbank Centre in Craigshill, Livingston.
