Getting Better Together Shotts Healthy Living Centre have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking motivated Social and Wellbeing Advisor to join our SPRING Social Prescribing Programme.
Social Prescribing empowers people to take control of their health and wellbeing through referral to a non-medical Social Prescriber, who will give time, focus on ‘what matters to me’ with the person and take a holistic approach, connecting people to various groups and services for practical and emotional support. The Social Prescriber will also support existing groups to be accessible and help people to start new community groups, working collaboratively with all local partners and volunteers.
