We are looking to recruit a Senior Residential Worker to join our team. The current role is based in our children’s house in Dunfermline. Our Seniors play a key pivotal role in our teams, using their skills, knowledge and expertise to support and work with their team to deliver excellent services to the vulnerable young people who live in our houses.
As a Senior Residential Worker, you will be responsible for some management tasks including providing guidance and professional supervision to team members. With the opportunity to undertake relevant training, this role will enable you to consolidate and develop your skills, looking to your future ability to move into a management role. You will also take part in the on-call rota.
You will be skilled in working with children and young people to manage the challenges that are presented to them in their daily lives whether at school, in their house or in the community. You will be enthusiastic, warm, playful, accepting, curious and empathetic and be able to bring these qualities to your work with the children and young people. Our approach is to work in a nurturing, therapeutic way, enabling the children and young people to feel safe and loved.
