Changeworks is expanding our portfolio of services to better support people to reduce their energy use and tackle the climate emergency. To build on existing services and develop new successful ones, we need someone to play a critical role in monitoring and improving our performance, as well as setting services up for success with onboarding and maximising data collection. That’s where you come in.

With your background in contracts, funding, or accounts, you’ll help us achieve our goals through innovative and impactful services. We’re looking for your expertise and experience in contract set-up, management and reporting as well as your flair for data analysis and keen eye for detail.

You’ll work alongside operational managers, our finance team and business development colleagues to ensure we’re meeting all our contractual requirements. As well as ensuring data is managed effectively to provide insights to improve our performance, you’ll enable us to develop realistic bids and ensure new contracts are set up correctly and efficiently. Your role will be key to supporting the development and growth of our Community Engagement and Energy Advice Services.

You’ll be confident in leading by example and motivating your colleagues to continuously improve and evidence impact. This role will involve using your strong communication skills to ensure insights and key information lands well and is fully utilised. You’ll be well versed in building strong and effective relationships with teams and partners to ensure the successful definition and delivery of services and contracts.

This role is permanent and reports directly to the Head of Community Engagement and Energy Advice Services, within the Delivery Directorate.

A trusted expert with over 35 years’ experience, we’re looking for a talented Researcher to join our industry-leading Consultancy team and make a real difference.

The Team

Our Consultancy team are leaders in the industry and provide expert analysis and insight to drive the decarbonisation of homes in Scotland. The team works across a range of disciplines including analysing housing stock and applying the latest insights in behavioural science, with monitoring and evaluation specialists evidencing the impact of projects.

The team carry out research and support projects to make a low carbon lifestyle a reality for all. This can include area-based projects focused on domestic energy efficiency and a range of other decarbonisation projects involving low carbon heat and renewables.

The Role

Your role will ensure our work continues to be underpinned by outstanding research and analysis. You’ll use your excellent grounding in qualitative and quantitative research techniques to conduct both technical and social research that underpins reports and recommendations for clients.

Using your keen eye for detail you’ll ensure that the research the team produces and maintains the highest quality. Whether this is when you are conducting interviews, developing and analysing surveys, or carrying out desk research – you’ll be using your clear communication skills to ensure data is gathered and analysed effectively.

The research you undertake and support on is critical to Changeworks achieving its strategic aim to accelerate the decarbonisation of Scotland’s home to help tackle climate change. Your work will lead to positive change for the environment as well as people, their wellbeing, and the homes they live in.

Are you looking to develop your skills and build on your marketing experience? Changeworks is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. Changeworks has over 35 years’ experience in delivering high impact solutions for low-carbon living. We work with partners, organisations and householders to tackle the climate emergency through alleviating fuel poverty and decarbonising homes.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing and Communications Delivery Manager, you will develop marketing campaigns and materials, as well as provide support for events and conferences alongside administrative support to the team.

As part of your role, you’ll gain lots of experience working on a range of marketing campaigns, targeting both consumers and businesses. You’ll be supported by the team to deliver these campaigns and report on campaign performance. We reach our audiences through a variety of channels so your work will include direct mail, email marketing, building and monitoring online advertising campaigns (training provided) and supporting video and photography projects.

You’ll have experience in providing administrative support, working on marketing campaigns, proofreading and copy editing. This role involves working with colleagues across Changeworks so being able to develop good working relationships and being a team player is a must.
