Our Community, health support services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.
The role of the Stroke Nurse is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital back into the community, for people who have had a stroke and their families. The Stroke Nurse helps them adjust to the changes associated with the stroke, through the provision of information, advice and support.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is organised and motivated, with good communication skills. Candidates must have a first level general nursing qualification and have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in either a hospital or community setting.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. The Advice Line service is a free and confidential helpline that supports people living with our conditions to ensure that live no life is half lived.
The Advice Line Call Coordinator will respond to incoming phone calls/e-mails/text messages and direct service users to the appropriate people/team within CHSS and be responsible for administration duties related to the Advice Line with support from a team of volunteers. This role is home based but occasional travel across Scotland will be required.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills who have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a health/social care setting and a basic understanding of medical terminology. Experience of recruiting and line managing volunteers is desirable.

Sustainable Kirriemuir is recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Manager to lead our staff team to deliver our strategy, and support the board of trustees to maintain best practice and develop our long-term plans. CJS are recruiting for a Commissioning Grants Officer. This is a new and crucial role within the Commissioning Team. You will contribute to the grant process currently underway as part of the recommissioning of voluntary throughcare funding and support transition to a business as usual model of grant management of the fund recipients. As Communications and Engagement Officer, you will support a range of National Park Authority priorities, which help achieve the ambitious outcomes outlined in our new National Park Partnership Plan. Working within the communications team as part of the Park Authority’s Engagement and Innovation Service, you will deliver effective communications and engagement activity, campaigns and projects to influence public opinion and behaviour.
The post holder will support our Media and Campaigns Manager with delivering targeted public relations activities and stakeholder engagement. They will also be responsible for the community management of the Park Authority’s social media channels, preparing and issuing stakeholder bulletins and designing content for and maintaining content on the website.
They will have previous experience in media relations and integrated communications skills gained within a busy client servicing role, either in-house or agency side. They will have excellent writing and editing skills, an understanding of what makes a good media story and engaging content for users and be confident juggling multiple priorities while delivering work with great attention to detail.

Fife Women’s Aid are looking for a full-time member of staff to join our existing MARAC team, working with women experiencing domestic abuse who are at high levels of risk.
If you want to help make a difference in the lives of women, children and young people with experience of domestic abuse, have direct experience of providing one to one person-centred support, an understanding of the causes and impacts of domestic abuse along with good interpersonal skills then you may be the person we are looking for. Applicants will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a support or advocacy role. The MARAC team is a small supportive team with a wealth of experience to share with new workers. Training will also be provided for the successful candidates.
The successful applicant(s) will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in social care or other relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.
