Snow Camp is a ground-breaking national youth charity, and we are looking to recruit a fantastic Wellbeing Manager to join our Scotland team based in Glasgow!
Our accredited programmes are unique and attractive to young people, taking them from beginner to qualified snowsports instructors in just one year with volunteering and apprenticeship progression routes available at the end. Alongside learning to ski or snowboard, young people also have access to wellbeing support with the emphasis on improving young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
You will work 2.5 days per week and will be responsible for the delivery of our group wellbeing workshops and providing 1to1 wellbeing support sessions to young people. You will also work as part of the Scotland team to provide support on our youth programmes throughout each year.
Experience of working successfully with under-served young people in a range of settings, with a focus on supporting young people’s wellbeing will be essential to the post. Passion for snowsports and supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Youth work, mental health & wellbeing support experience, project management, logistical skills, managing relationships, communication and presentation skills will make up the role. Essential Criteria
1. A passion for supporting young people’s wellbeing and mental health.

What we are looking for....
We are looking for an individual who can integrate seamlessly into our existing team, working alongside it and relief adults to support excellent service delivery. We are looking for a Residential Worker to work 37.5 hours per week on a residential rota including early, late, waken nights, sleepovers and weekend shifts. You will have a knowledge and understanding of the importance of attachment, trauma and how this can impact on an individual’s development. At times our children express their distress through their behaviour and the role can be emotionally and physically challenging; we are therefore looking for someone who is resilient, understands that behaviour is a means of communication and is trauma responsive.
You will be skilled in building therapeutic relationships with the children, young people and young adults to enable them to feel safe, loved and cared for.
You must have the ability to quickly build your relationships with the adults within the house. The nature of the role is such that you could be working to cover a shift or longer periods as required, including days, wakened nightshifts and sleepovers and you may also be supporting young people to attend school or participate in other learning programmes. You must therefore be able to quickly adapt to the working environment within each house.
You will be comfortable with working within Aberlour’s culture embracing respect, integrity, innovation and the ability to challenge. Demonstration of these qualities will be particularly important in this role given that you will be dipping in and out of the different teams. You must be able to be an exceptional role model for other staff and the young person.

Bethany Christian Trust is looking for a Community Resettlement worker to support nine tenants in the East End of Glasgow. The project provides support to individuals with tenancy sustainment, community engagement, and the development of healthy social networks.

Options Fife Respite and Outreach provides a range of flexible support through outreach and overnight short breaks at weekends, evenings and school holidays to children and young people with complex learning disabilities and autism. As one of our Residential Support Worker's, your role will involve providing encouragement and support to young people, aged 5 to 21, in order to help them reach their full potential and achieve their goals. You'll be responsible for assessing their needs, setting goals, and regularly reviewing and evaluating their progress. By creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment, you'll contribute to their overall development and well-being.
You'll plan and take part in activities based at the service as well as out in the community such as trips to the local shops, parks, cinema, soft play, youth club, beach, swimming and various others. You'll also provide support with day to day routines, life skills, attend to personal care and administer medication following the appropriate training.

The Blues Programme is an internationally acclaimed wellbeing programme for young people. Over six weeks, it teaches emotional resilience, and reduces low mood and anxious thoughts. Crucially, it gets teenagers talking.
As a Young Person's Practitioner, you'll be involved in delivering one-hour group sessions at school each week, plus set home tasks. As a result, students learn how to challenge negative thoughts, and talk about different coping strategies.
Regular group work builds rapport and confidence. The home tasks are a chance to practice the new skills. It's simple, and it works.

Our Activity Hubs provide innovative and person-centred services and support to veterans struggling with sight loss. The services aim to reduce isolation while improving independence and confidence to live well with a visual impairment now and in the future through the provision of a large variety of activities including woodwork, kitchen skills, IT skills, archery. Whilst participating in these activities, veterans have many opportunities to meet with other veterans with sight loss.
The services also offer veterans access to information and support in a welcoming environment through drop in and information sessions with the wider Sight Scotland Veterans teams and other external organisations.
