The Community Health and Wellbeing Coordinator will support third sector organisations to contribute to building community health and wellbeing across Dumfries and Galloway.
Developing resources, providing advice to sector organisations and contributing to events, the Coordinator will be central to supporting community health and wellbeing activity, creating and promoting support and capacity building opportunities and supporting in the development of community health and wellbeing resources.
As a colleague in the Partnerships and Communities workstream, the Coordinator will also be involved in sector events, forums and projects for the third sector working with colleagues across the organisation.
As part of the Economic Development and Enterprise Team, the Development Officer role will develop social enterprise activity through capacity building support.
The Development Officer will support the delivery of the Third Sector Dumfries & Galloway Social Enterprise Strategy and our alignment with the national Social Enterprise Strategy. The Development Officer will develop resources, and provide advice to new and existing social enterprises to support them to grow and thrive, and realise their full potential within our local communities and economy.

Working with colleagues across Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway, the Training and Events Coordinator will take the lead on coordinating the development of a training programme for social enterprises and the wider third sector across Dumfries and Galloway, as part of TSDGs annual training calendar, designed to develop and support a strong third sector across Dumfries and Galloway.
The Training and Events Coordinator will engage with third sector organisations and networks such as our Social Enterprise Dumfries and Galloway Network, to establish the sector’s needs and will work with teams across the organisation to develop training opportunities.
They will work with colleagues to secure attendance, liaising with our communications team; coordinate events on the day; analyse feedback and implement recommendations to develop future training opportunities.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has demonstrated experience in fundraising and is looking to share their skills in a freelance capacity.
The purpose of the role is to work with the National Lead to create and implement fundraising plans aligned with Dates-n-Mates strategic plan. You will have knowledge and experience of individual giving, major donor programmes and corporate sponsorship.
The right candidate will be able to offer 2-4 days freelance per month for 12 months, a daily rate will be agreed depending on experience.

CJS are recruiting for a Commissioning Grants Officer. This is a new and crucial role within the Commissioning Team. You will contribute to the grant process currently underway as part of the recommissioning of voluntary throughcare funding and support transition to a business as usual model of grant management of the fund recipients. They will have previous experience in media relations and integrated communications skills gained within a busy client servicing role, either in-house or agency side.
