As our Senior HR Advisor, you will be an integral part of our HR Support team providing support, advice and coaching to all levels of management on employee relations matters. You will be accountable for the provision of advice on complex employee relations cases, ensuring that your advice is legally compliant, in line with best practice offering a practical approach which is both solution and risk based. You will also be involved in the provision of HR consultancy services to our members, providing training on HR related topics and keeping our resources for members up to date.
You will have a relevant higher education qualification combined with practical experience of managing complex employee relations cases from start to conclusion. You will have practical HR knowledge and skills with the ability to apply these to a variety of different situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will come naturally to you allowing you to present information in various formats and easily build effective working relationships.

Opening in Autumn 2024, we are seeking an exceptional Service Manager for our brand new Dayhab in Aberdeen city centre.
The Role
This role is a Service Manager position for a structured Dayhab in the city centre of Aberdeen. You will report to the Operations Lead and you will provide leadership and support to the Therapeutic Practitioners within the Dayhab and the Team Manager within the Recovery Housing Service.
You will support the Operations Lead and wider colleagues with the development of the brand-new service(s) in Aberdeen City. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of compliance with both internal and Care Inspectorate standards of care. You will be supported to find innovative ways to support people in their recovery whilst ensuring your service delivers evidence-based practice. You will ensure that the interventions are appropriate, innovative, and fully meet the needs of clients, the organisation and commissioners.

Due to new funding from the Scottish Government, this brand new service will be based in Aberdeen City centre and is currently being procured. This community based service will be framed around our Residential Therapeutic Community model, providing a structured day service. This flexible service will run a structured group work programme in addition to 1 to 1 support, including a range of meaningful activities to build recovery capital. Ran by a small team of 3 staff with support from volunteers and peer mentors. You will also work closely and collaborate with our new Residential service based in Alford and the new Housing team also based in Aberdeen city centre.

This service provides individually tailored visiting support to people living across Fife. This is a long-term service with individual support packages funded through social work spot contracts.
In this role, you will be supported to work using a person centred and trauma informed approach and develop effective relationships with people affected by a range of problems, supporting them to cope in difficult times and working towards a good life. You will provide emotional, practical and social support to enable people to live as independently as possible and make informed choices in all aspects of their lives. Your role may involve liaising with other agencies that may be involved with the person you are supporting, advocating on their behalf, and accessing professional help if required and appropriate.
As this role is Fife wide driving is a requirement of this role.
